Join me for a fun exploration of painting loose, expressive sunflowers in watercolour.

In this workshop you will learn to simplify shapes and capture the essence of sunflowers in a very loose expressive style.
You’ll be guided through exercises that help you loosen up and let colours blend naturally on the page. The focus will be on playful brushwork, simplified petals and foliage, and embracing happy accidents to create expressive, lively sunflowers. You will also learn how to add fun textures like splattering, lifting, wet on wet blooming.
There will be plenty of watercolour demonstrations and one-to-one support throughout.
You will be given a complete watercolour kit, including paints, brushes and paper, to use during the session and take home afterwards.
Suitable for anyone looking for a relaxed and creative introduction to watercolour.
