Learn to paint abstract landscapes in watercolour in a fun and experimental way!
Join me for a day of learning how to paint abstract landscapes from imagination in a playful and experimental way.
This workshop isn’t about following rigid steps, it’s a journey of self-expression. You’ll experiment with colours, marks, scribbles and textures, letting your intuition lead as your artwork evolves naturally and freely, without expectations.
You will be guided to explore watercolour techniques that focus on texture and movement, including working wet-on-wet with lots of water, lifting paint, splatters, simple mark-making and creating effects with materials such as salt. These exercises invite you to work intuitively and discover your own colour combinations, marks and rhythms, which you can use to create any expressive landscapes.
There will be plenty of watercolour demonstrations and one-to-one support throughout. You’ll have time to experiment, build confidence and begin exploring your own style. This workshop encourages spontaneity and play, helping you reconnect with the joy of creating.
Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with experience in watercolour.
All materials are provided, and you will receive a complete watercolour kit to use during the workshop and take home.
